Rental Terms
Payment: A 50% deposit confirms your dates. The balance is due 60 days before check-in in summer and 30 days before check-in in the off-season. Bookings made inside that window are paid in full at booking. A refundable $500 damage deposit is collected with the balance and returned within 7 days after checkout if there is no damage or missing gear.
Cancellation, summer: Full refund 60 or more days before check-in, 50% refund 30 to 59 days before, no refund inside 30 days.
Cancellation, off-season: Full refund 30 or more days before check-in, 50% refund 14 to 29 days before, no refund inside 14 days.
Also: Full refund within 48 hours of booking if check-in is at least 14 days away. No refund for early departure or no-shows. If a mandatory evacuation is ordered for Emerald Isle or Carteret County, unused nights are refunded or credited. Travel insurance is recommended. If we ever need to cancel, you receive a full refund and our help finding alternatives.
Pets and golf cart: Up to 2 dogs, no other pets. A golf cart waiver is signed at check-in before the golf cart is used.
These terms apply to direct bookings. Bookings made through Airbnb or Vrbo follow the policy shown on that platform.
